As the scene came lightning jumped a little then shook her head "huh"

Storm noticed Lightning jump and said, "Hmm what's the 'huh' for?"

"uh its nothing just didnt expect it"

"Oh I see." Storm smiled at her and pat her leg. "Looks like you weren't ready for it."

"ya"

"Hey I'm here for you if you need anything, I want to be here with you."

"uh alright"

Storm smiled at her. "Light... I want to know... what do you think about me?"

"there isnt much to think i hardly know you"

"I know..."

"then why ask?"

"Because I feel this strong connection to you... almost as if I've known you forever or something... it's crazy, but it's there and I don't know why..."

"I see"

"I don't know why... why now of all times? In the middle of the war? This isn't time for getting involved with a woman, but no matter how much I keep telling myself that... something else tells me to be with you and comfort you, to be there for you, and more..."

"what the hell makes you think i need comforting?, i dont need any one to be there for me i can handle anything i always have"

"I know... but I want to be with you, I don't know why myself..." Storm leaned over and closed his eyes. "It's not so much comforting I guess..."

"ugh so what are you saying you see me and suddenly you love me?"

"No... not really, I'm saying that I feel like I've known you forever and I don't know why."

"I dont understand"

"I don't really know either... I do have feelings for you as I said before. but I feel like I've always known you... it can't be possible though... That's why I asked you how you feel about me... I wanted to see if you have the same feelings I do and if you did... then maybe we could try to figure out why?"

"I dont know"

"I see..."

"huh you should go now"

"I understand... good bye Light, and thank you for the lovely time together." Storm walked out of Lightning's quarters.
